Where do you feel most happy – creative, calm, joyful, or free? Imagine what that place feels, looks, or even sounds like? Is it a cozy nook in your home, a bustling city corner, an open spot in nature, or somewhere that exists only in your imagination? Or perhaps somewhere online?
In this workshop, we’ll explore the idea of physical and digital “happy places” and bring them to life. Using a mix of analog materials and digital tools, participants will gather inspiration from the Kunstbau and nearby public spaces – collecting textures, images, sounds, and memories. Then, we'll use artificial intelligence (AI) tools like text-to-image generators to transform these artifacts into our own visual and spatial experiences. In the final part of the workshop, we’ll explore these places – sharing stories, relaxing, and enjoying what we’ve co-created.
Workshop in collaboration with Creativity Lab @TUM Think Tank (Anyu Jiang, Sandra Cortesi, and Camila Hidalgo).
