Extra+ is coming up, and we are looking forward to the musical accompaniment of Radio 80000!
Free entry to all our exhibitions starts at 6 pm.: Contemporary art in "Iman Issa. Lass uns spielen" and "Franz Wanner. Suspended Presences", "Shifting the Silence. Die Stille verschieben" invites you to explore the limits of what can be said and to celebrate the poetic nature of art. In the exhibition "What May Vanish Becomes Image. Regarding Nature and Art" you will discover how art captures transience – from fleeting moments to endangered nature and in "Beyond the World. The Blue Rider". From 7 pm to 10 pm there will be drinks and music – all under the special light of Olafur Eliasson's "Wirbelwerk"!

Every first Thursday of the month, the Lenbachhaus opens its doors from 6 pm to 10 pm and invites Munich’s community radio station to help shape the evening’s musical programme. Since its foundation in 2015, Radio 80000 has developed into a platform for collaboration and cultural exchange through music and events. DJs, musicians, producers, journalists and music lovers create a radio programme that goes beyond algorithms and commercial playlists.

Under the title "extra+", contemporary art and music come together here. Listening sets from various genres guide visitors through the building, the current exhibitions and the collection.

Do come along and spend an evening enjoying art, music and drinks. Admission to all exhibitions is free.
