Please note the following general principles on inquiries concerning the collection and art-historical questions:
Please direct your inquiry to a single addressee. Responses to inquiries that take more than 30 minutes to answer will be billed at €39/hour in accordance with the State Capital of Munich's schedule of charges and fees. Responses to inquiries that require scholarly expertise may take up to four weeks or more.
Unfortunately, we cannot respond to requests for assessments and expert reports on works of art. This includes advisory opinions on authorships, attributions, estimated values, and market prices.
Further information can be found here.
Please note that for security reasons, we will only respond to mails containing a complete signature including the sender’s full name and postal address.
