Come over for a long Free&Easy with Radio 80000! Free entry to all our exhibitions starts at 6 pm. "Shifting the Silence. Die Stille verschieben" invites you to explore the limits of what can be said and to celebrate the poetic nature of art. "Out of Focus. Leonore Mau and Haiti. An exhibition by U5" uses photographs by Leonore Maus to explore whether and how it is possible to present a nuanced picture of Haiti that goes beyond common stereotypes. In the exhibition "What May Vanish Becomes Image. Regarding Nature and Art" you will discover how art captures transience – from fleeting moments to endangered nature and in "The Blue Rider. A New Language". From 7 pm to 10 pm there will be drinks from ZIRKA and music from Radio 80000 – all under the special light of Olafur Eliasson's "Wirbelwerk"!
Funded by the Ingrid Werndl-Laue Foundation, the Herbert Schuchardt Foundation and the Förderverein Lenbachhaus e.V.
Supplementary programme: Does activism belong in museums? Of course!
A different kind of museum: In the exhibition "What May Vanish Becomes Image. Regarding Nature and Art", Klimanetz-München presents climate commentary and reinterpretations of exhibited works. Come and join us!
