"There’s more to it than meets the eye." (Haitian saying)

With this premise, we invite guests and visitors to join a "Relational Viewing". In this experimental format, we focus on a single photograph from Leonore Mau’s extensive estate and its accompanying description. Each participant decides whether they want to see the image itself or hear its description—thus setting their own focus.
During the "Relational Viewing", we bring forth the inner images and meanings (and cultural imprints) that emerge, and discuss them together.
