KUNSTBAU: "I'm trying something new."

"Hello, my name is Kunstbau." is an education and mediation project at Lenbachhaus. Here, the exhibition space becomes a testing ground, in which mediation processes, encounter, discourse and collaborative creation are being explored in the museum.

In the project we focus on (co-) creating: You can build, read, stroll, discover, try out, talk to each other, discuss, listen, write, invent, think, dream, draft, suggest, reject, improvise, play, dance, practice, exchange, explore, narrate, relax, sleep, drink coffee, decide spontaneously and be in for a surprise.

In cooperation with artists, associations, collectives, organizations and educational institutions, we think about spaces. We ask ourselves: How can cultural and public spaces become more inviting and accessible for different people and ideas? How can we learn from each other and build connections?

The project opens on 25 June with an all-day programme of events.

Free admission! Opening hours: Tue–Sun, 2–8 pm.
