We cordially invite you to the launch of our open art bookcase on June 5, from 5 to 6 p.m.!
From now on, the bookcase will be standing in front of Lenbachhaus. Everyone is welcome to bring their own recommendations, especially art books, and browse the shelves for interesting finds.
These “open libraries”, whose constantly changing collections make them popular meeting places, are becoming increasingly common in Munich. Anyone interested in art books of all kinds, from exhibition catalogs to essay collections, who wants to pass on their favorite books or find new ones, can now visit the bookcase in front of the Lenbachhaus. Everyone who stops by to swap and read practices the library's “law of the good neighbor”, which favors surprising chance finds over targeted searches.
The open art bookcase has books for everyone, all year round, day and night.
Come by at 5 p.m. to help us fill the bookcase!
Free&Easy takes place from 6 pm - with free entry to all exhibitions, drinks from ELLA and music from Radio 80000.
