The Temporary Soundmuseum, Camatti Bar & the Lenbachhaus invite you to our Bauhausfest on January 30, 2016. To celebrate the finissage of the "Klee & Kandinsky. Neighbors, Friends, Rivals" exhibition in style, we will transform the Lenbachhaus’s Kunstbau into the scene of the legendary parties at the Bauhaus.

We will kick the evening off with the music of the era: classics of swing will transport us back to another time. Kalle Laar and his team at the Temporary Soundmuseum, who are in charge of the night’s music program, have also designed projections that will bring the Bauhaus era back to life. Around 22, DJ Rupen will take over at the turntables and play electro swing – the contemporary answer to the Bauhaus’s boisterous dance parties.

Also in the works: slide projections, sound collages, unique sweets based on Johannes Itten’s theory of color, specially mixed Bauhaus drinks, and much more ...

Feel free to break out your best Bauhaus garb – purist elegance and eccentric extravagance rule.
