The Blue Rider

Oksana Oliinyk, Senior Researcher at the Khanenko Museum in Kyiv and currently a research associate at the Lenbachhaus, will guide visitors through the exhibition "Group Dynamics – The Blue Rider" in Ukrainian. She will put a special focus on Elisabeth Epstein and other female artists of the group. Elisabeth Iwanowna Epstein, née Hefter (1879 Schytomyr, Ukraine – 1956 Geneva, Switzerland) was an important protagonist of the Blue Rider and central link to the Parisian avant-garde.
Оксана Олійник, старша наукова співробітниця Музею Ханенків у Києві, працює в Ленбахгаузі з травня 2022 року. Вона вестиме екскурсію виставкою «Групова динаміка – Синій вершник» українською мовою з особливим акцентом на творчості Елізабет Епштейн та інших художниць. Елізабет Іванівна Епштейн, уроджена Хефтер (1879, Житомир, Україна – 1956 Женева, Швейцарія) була важливою представницею «Синього вершника» та провідною ланкою паризького авангарду.
Oksana Oliinyk's position at the Lenbachhaus is supported by the Ernst von Siemens Kunststiftung together with the Hermann Reemtsma Stiftung within the framework of the UKRAINE funding line.
