Open call – Radio Vaduz invites you to participate:

Radio Vaduz is a temporary experimental radio sculpture that is airing end of July 2020 in the exhibition "Radio Activity. Collective Approaches to Art ans Politics" in Lenbachhaus. You may already listen to our test program on https://vaduz.live. Our program schedule convinces with simple but strict concepts: the "Monoshow", the "Radio Picnic", "Ice-Cream on Air", the "Radio-Funken" or the "Robert Barry Honoring Listening Night".

Radio Vaduz is collecting contributions for the radio weekend on July 25 at Lenbachhaus: If you want to broadcast and discuss something, please feel free to participate at any time in our daily "Listening Circle". Simply upload*: Whether soundscapes and time-based audio art, Aesthetic Journalism such as interviews, reports, essays or experimental podcasts, or even: Just hold your cell phone microphone out of the window and send us the file for our "Natural Radio". We are looking forward to many DIYsounds. A warm invite! Let’s party.

During the radio weekend from 24–26 July a bar for beverages will be available in the garden. The gastronomic offer is in accordance with the hygiene concept "Cultural Events and Rehearsals" of the Bavarian State Ministries of Health and Care and of Science and Art.

*We prefer PCM (.wav) or FLAC files, but OGG Vorbis or mp3 is also possible. If your program contains industrial music (in Germany: “Gema” or “GVL” repertoire), then streaming and broadcasting is only possible between July 18, 2020 and July 26, 2020; in this case, please end the name of your contribution with "GGR" by all means. Please use the following naming convention when uploading (example for audio with industrial music): "MyBroadcast MyName GGR". Further specifications: PCM (.wav) – sampling rate 48 kHz or 44.1 kHz / 16 bits 2 channels (stereo); mp3 – 192 k stereo. Please send us an e-mail to: mail(at)vaduz.live and we will send you the registration information for a personal vaduz.live account for upload and playlist design. Tune in!
