Studios, workshops, and activities
for families, children, and our youngest visitors

Babies see the world with fresh eyes—and so do new parents. Everyone from toddlers to grandparents is invited to join us on an exciting journey of discovery through the Lenbachhaus. We learn out about many artists’ interesting life stories and find out what inspired their works. Come join us—and bring your family and friends!

Together we explore the museum’s sights. What’s going on beneath the surface of the pictures? Whose eyes see what? Does everyone see the same thing? We discover new perspectives on both older and recent art.

Children and teenagers (below the age of 18) enjoy free admission to all exhibitions. Please note that major special exhibitions may have different opening hours, and special admission rates may apply. Our WAS TUN! art education programs are currently only held in german.

For dates and more information on our broad range of programs, see the calendar of events or subscribe to WAS TUN! the Lenbachhaus’s art education newsletter.
